A simple yet bothersome question goes,
In life, why do Many people fail?
As simple as that most people will still fail to get the answer(s) correct.
It’s a big burden of concern to me that ironically, in this generation where there’s so much information at our fingertips, most people are less smarter than in the 90’s. Technology that was made to aid life for us by simplifying things for us has been made to complicate things all the more.
I bear a pain in this because, we were the creators of technology, teaching it what to do, now most people need both technology and humans to teach them the obvious.
Why do most people fall amongst the average?
Statistics has it that more than half the population of the world fail to achieve their goals in life, causing frustration, depression, lack of motivation and eventually, many them settle for less than they expected.
But if you were to ask me, why is it that people fail to accomplish their set target on life? Why do people fail?
Number 1. People fail because they don’t know why they fail:
Whether it is a job interview, examination or test, audition, opportunity to showcase what you’ve got, you will fail if you don’t know why you have or will fail.
If you can’t learn from your past failures why you failed in such similar circumstances and relate them to your current test or future opportunity(-ies), you will eventually fail. I have learnt the hard way that experience is not the best teacher—insight is. And if you don’t know why people fail in such similar cases as you are right now, you will eventually fail when it’s time to test to know if you’ve learnt what’s expected of you.
Number 2. Reason why many people fail: Because many people flock around the wrong people:
We know the tale that eagles don’t flock with pigeons, why is that so?
Because pigeons are flockers, most don’t go anywhere alone. They must be in a crowd. Think like a crowd, act like a crowd. And usually act as one.
Now don’t get me wrong with going with the crowd, most especially college/university students. I’m not saying dissociate and be antisocial, no. If anything, don’t be that.
I’m saying, if you making decisions has to be based on what you hear from a friend that heard from a friend that in turn, heard from another about some crucial matters. Then be aware you are flocking already.
Most people make decisions after they have gotten a lot of others’ approval. They wait to get approvals. That alone is time consuming, and energy abusing.
“Pigeons don’t go extra miles higher because they are much, eagles go wherever they want.”
Number 3. Reason why many people fail: You are still breeding bad habits that are choking the success out of you.
There are lifestyles you have to give up in order to achieve your goal.
You can’t be disciplined and lazy at the same time.
You can’t be a quiter and be determined the same time.
You can’t be a latecomer and be punctual.
You can’t be a waster and be frugal.
You must be weaned of the voice of bad habits and get ready to start learning the language of successful people.
Number 4. Reason why many people fail: You think you know the way, but you don’t.
That long title above is self explanatory. Many of us think we can achieve success our way, so we tend to do things our way all in the name of “follow your heart” mantras and in so doing, destroy our hopes of succeeding.
You may say, how true can this be? I will respond. You see this earth we walk in, it’s originated billions of years before we existed. There are paths to success that have already been scripted before you were a fetus. Don’t be deceived, there’s no way you can succeed in your head alone. Seek more knowledge and forsake your own knowledge.
Last reason why many people fail: Many people fail to prepare.
It’s one of the most rampant causes of failure globally and in all aspects of life. You fail in examinations because you fail to prepare for exams, you fail in business because you fail to prepare for your business, you fail in ministry because you fail to prepare. A major reason I have seen why a few people who are successful succeed is because they are well prepared ahead of time.
“Be not wise in your own eyes. Let’s learn together, and it’s a promise, the world would be ours.”
