THE CHURCH AND GOSSIP

Titus 1:10-16.
Many so-called believers are given to Gossiping. They ruin the names of others in their conversations with others—believers or non-believers. It is sad that many members in churches don’t live a life close to what Christ committed into our hands.
Gossips are everywhere, and it is a tragedy that such unholy spirits are found within those who relate themselves to Christ and Christianity.

From the scripture we find that the are insubordinate people—especially within the churches. Being insubordinate means being rebellious, defiant to authority. In other words, challengers, political ‘Christians’. They all start by one person whispering some bad or despicable news to another who accepts such—he/she doesn’t need to say anything, just listening to such is terrible enough to invoke a revolt, from thence we have insubordination.
We are not Christians if we claim “to know God and our works deny Him…” Titus 1:16.

Many Christians suffer attacks, not because God cannot intercede on their behalf, or there is a need to be patient. But because of what ever wrong and evil things they have said about others in the body of Christ. You don’t expect to be defaming the name of the church and children of God and still expect God to answer your prayers.
Such disastrous character shouldn’t be found in the body of Christ. No. Never. Not for once.

If you claim to truly know and love God, why not live it, rather than pretend it. There is a limit to which we can pretend, but there’s no limit to which we can live something as a lifestyle.
A Christian is supposed to speak only good and not evil of anyone Titus 3:2.
